Spurs are used in many equestrian pursuits such as English, Western, Polo and Stockwork, made from carbon fibre, durable stainless steel, black steel or chrome plated steel and designed to be worn on the heels of your riding boots, and used for the purpose of aiding your leg commands. Types of spurs include Dressage Spurs, Campdraft Spurs, Prince of Wales (POW), Jumping Spurs, Rodeo Spurs, Polo and Polocrosse Spurs, Bronc spurs, Stockman and Cutter Spurs.
Spurs are attached to your riding boot by use of a spur strap, usually made of leather or nylon with nickel, stainless steel or brass buckles. Spurs and spur straps come in English and Western styles. You can also purchase replacement Rowels for your Spurs, in all kinds of styles including bumpers and rollers. Additionally, you can purchase Spur Tie Downs and Three Point Spur Straps to help hold your spurs in their correct position and stop your spurs from riding up your boot heel.
